One of Jeanne's first teachers in loving presence was the late Cree Elder Jim Settee. In honour of Jim, Jeanne directed and produced a film for the Aboriginal People's Television Network (APTN) in 2009, called Jim Settee: The Way Home. She has toured this film, and shared Jim's teachings on loving presence, reconciliation, and cultural education, to over 35,000 people in over 320 schools and communities across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Jeanne is available for community film screenings with Jim's film, with a focus on reconciliation and cultural awareness from her Métis perspective.
Jeanne also leads mindfulness sessions which offer her understanding of the connections between mindfulness and Indigenous ways of knowing, inspired by her work with the late Elder Jim Settee, her dad, Andy Corrigal, and her current mentor, Indigenous Buddhist teacher Bonnie Duran.
