Insight Meditation

Jeanne has been studying and practising Insight Meditation in the Theravadin tradition, for over 20 years. She is a certified Community Dharma Leader with the Spirit Rock Meditation Center (2012), trained by Jack Kornfield and many other teachers.  She is currently a participant in the 2017 - 2021 Teacher Training Program at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS), training with Joseph Goldstein, Guy Armstrong, Sharon Salzberg, and many other beloved teachers.  She is also influenced by Thich Nhat Hahn, Sayadaw U Tejaniya, and Cree Elder Jim Settee.

She leads a weekly drop in meditation group, hosted on zoom by the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community.
Every one is welcome on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
The cost is by donation.  For more information about the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community (SIMC), and to register for a zoom link for the Wednesday teaching and sit, please visit www.saskatooninsight.com

Unwinding Whiteness: a White Affinity Group: A nine-month group with meetings every 3-5 weeks, providing facilitated and peer support for white people to explore and unwind racist conditioning. These affinity groups have been identified as one of the key and powerful actions that the white community can take in this journey.

We have had a very big response to this program, with over 60 people registering. We are closing registration early, but if you wish to be on a wait list for another program next year, please let us know by sending us an email. This is taught by Jeanne, and organized by the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community.
