Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Dear friends, I am teaching a lot on line with the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community, and so have not been able to schedule an MBSR course. I want to recommend the excellent online MBSR courses of my colleague Vicki Herman, at Sit Saskatoon - I know you would greatly benefit from her guidance: https://sitsaskatoon.ca/group-programs This transformative course is based on over three decades of research and is widely used in medical centers, business and community settings worldwide. This immersion in the practices of mindfulness as well as compassion and kindness supports the integration of the practise in everyday life. Each class is 2.5 hours in length to allow time for mindful movement, meditation practise, group dialogue, gentle interactive small group work, and participatory exercises. The day long retreat helps to anchor the practise. This class is 27 hours in total. |
